Instagram Analytics — Reach, Engagement and Audience Straight from Your CRM

See your Instagram reach, followers, engagement and demographics in the DunaHub dashboard. Refreshed daily through the official Meta API — free, no limits.

What DunaHub Instagram Analytics is

A visual dashboard that shows how your Instagram content is performing — no need to open the app, no spreadsheets, no separate tool. Data comes from the official Meta Graph API and refreshes automatically every day.

Built for people who already use DunaHub as their CRM and want to understand content ROI without paying Socialinsider (~$82/mo) or Later ($25/mo) just for analytics.

Where to find it

Sidebar → Social → Analytics (or the URL /dashboard/{your-org}/social/analytics). If Instagram isn't connected yet, a pre-connect screen walks you through the setup.

Available metrics

Main tiles (2×2)

| Metric | What it shows | |---|---| | Followers | Current total + % change vs previous period | | Reach | Unique accounts that saw your content in the period | | Profile views | How many people opened your profile | | Engagement | Rate (likes+comments+saves / reach) |

Reach chart

Daily bars for the last 30 days, ordered by height — a glance shows the trend. The peak day is highlighted in dark orange.

Top posts

Your 6 best posts of the period, ranked by engagement — with likes, comments, and saves. Use it to copy what works: identify the format, topic, and posting time that your audience rewards.

Audience demographics

Charts showing gender, age range, country, and city of your followers. Essential for picking posting times and adjusting content tone.

How the data is collected

A cron job runs every morning (~04:00 UTC) and makes three calls to the Meta Graph API per connected account:

  1. Account-level metrics (/insights) — followers, reach, impressions, profile visits
  2. Per-post metrics (/media/{id}/insights) — engagement, likes, saves
  3. Demographics (/insights?metric=audience_gender_age,audience_country,audience_city)

Results are persisted to the social_insights table and served to the dashboard as a daily snapshot. We don't call Meta live on every dashboard refresh — this keeps performance fast and avoids hitting rate limits.

Business account required

Instagram Analytics requires a Business or Creator profile — the insights endpoints only exist for these categories in the Meta Graph API. Converting is free and takes 1 minute in the Instagram app: Profile → Settings → Account → Switch to Professional account.

If you try to connect a personal account, the dashboard walks you through the conversion steps.
